About the Owner

Micah Ninteman is the owner and head trainer of DropZone Athletics. Micah has been personal training and coaching for more than 5 years and has his Bachelors in Kinesiology and is certified through the American Council on Exercise.

Micah’s philosophy of fitness and training is, losing weight can be done through diet and diet alone. But in order to feel strong, confident and as tough as a Spartan, well, that is built through working out. With enough exercise and proper changes in your diet, you can achieve weight loss and lower body fat percentage and muscle gain comes soon after.

Micah feels that the most important thing about being fit is being able to partake in all the activities that you love doing, outside of the gym, with ease and confidence. This can range from carrying all of  your groceries or laundry in one trip to playing with your children without getting tired before they do. Or maybe it’s about being more intimate with your husband or wife and feeling confident about yourself. Or about smashing that local 5k or Spartan Race. Maybe its taking your already established fitness to the next level! It’s called functional training because it should make you functional!

Whether it’s through a one on one session, working out with a partner, one of our boot camps/small groups, or a written workout program to fit your unique goals, we are here for you to obtain whatever goals you may have.

Are you in the zone?

Drop Zone classes are time-interval based circuit classes. With every class being time based for every workout, all levels of fitness are welcome to join at their own pace. These classes will challenge you through at all aspects of functional training and will get your ready to take on life. Classes change weekly so you will always be on your toes waiting for the next class!

Mission Statement.

To offer a safe and accepting place where all people, from all walks of life, can come as they are and better themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually while leaving their burdens and stresses at the door. Within the Journey of Fitness we are all on the same team. Have you hit a plateau with your workout program at your local gym and need some structure for a guided workout regiment but cant make it to our DropZone Facility? Then our 6 week program is just right for you. It includes 6 written work outs a week for 6 weeks.
